On the 11th November a roundtable discussion on a topic “Eurasia Expo as a brand new exhibition centre in Russia” took place in Yekaterinburg. The roundtable discussion was held in the regional information centre “TASS-Ural”. The participants of the event were members of Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk region administration, representatives of regional business, investors of the exhibition centre, representatives of mass-media and the organizers of “INNOPROM” – the President of the group of companies “Formika” Maxim Zverkov, managing consultant of the exhibition centre “Eurasia Expo” Elena Peshkova and the Managing Director of Ural International Exhibition and Forum “INNOPROM-2011” Kira Ptanskaya.
The main theme of the round table discussion was the development of the Ural region and Sverdlovsk region in particular and that important role that play in it the exhibition centre “Eurasia Expo” and Ural Exhibition and Forum “INNOPROM”.
The participants of the roundtable discussion once more emphasized the importance of innovative way of economic development and prospects that construction of the new modern exhibition centre will bring to the region.
As Dmitry Kalaev, the adviser of the Minister of Economic Affairs of the Sverdlovsk region emphasized, “The exhibition centre is a gate to business. At present we do not have the exhibition centre that corresponds to our level and ambitions. Such exhibition centre (Eurasia Expo – editorial comment) will show everyone that is going to make business in our region a new level. It is the attraction centre of innovators, businessmen and investments”.
According to the words of Vadim Dybichev, the deputy chaiman of the Governor's administration, “INNOPROM” shall become the “engine” of innovations in the region and the stage, where experience and innovative technologies exchange can take place.
