The Fourth International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM will be held in Ekaterinburg on July 11-14, 2013. Its main topic is “Global Industry: Strategies and Risks.”
The industrial interests of all countries around the globe are so closely interwoven with each other that even today one can speak of the existence of Global Industry as a single entity with common challenges, common problems, and common risks. Against the backdrop of forecasts of the global economic crisis and industrial slowdown, the Russian and international business community will have the opportunity to discuss the development trends of global industry. INNOPROM 2013 is to become the platform for government and business to develop recommendations as to how to optimize industrial manufacturing under new conditions and make sure the process of implementation of new technologies into industry does not slow down and serves as a solution to problems that might arise.
The topic of the next INNOPROM corresponds to the exhibition’s new status that it received in 2012. As Dmitry Medvedev noted in his speech delivered at the Forum, INNOPROM 2012 outgrew the regional level and has the right to be regarded as the main national industrial platform. This is confirmed by quantitative indicators: the total number of exhibitors grew to 500 companies, with 50 foreign industrial enterprises among them. The exhibition was visited by 57,000 people, 38 delegations from 32 countries. In total, 34 long-term agreements for the amount of RUR182.5 billion have been signed.
More than 90 events were held as part of the business program of INNOPROM 2012. Some of these projects stand out as very successful and will be further addressed and discussed at the forum of 2013. Among them is the forecast session with world renowned scientists and businessmen, prominent innovators and reputable analysts, the conference on technical regulation held by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Forum of Industrial Design “Formika,” and The Minute of Fame Contest. New events with top experts are planned to be held as well. They will attract leaders in the business.
As of today, participation in INNOPROM 2013 has been officially confirmed by such global industrialists as SchneiderElectric, The Russian Technologies State Corporation, and Herrenknecht AG. Currently, Siemens, Philips, TATA Group, Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company Holding, Research and Production Corporation UralVagonZavod named after F.E. Dzerzhinsky, Lukoil, JSC ChelPipe, and Renova Group are considering the possibility of their participation in the exhibition.
