The theme of the 5th anniversary INNOPROM is the "Intellectual industry: industrial automation, robotics and new materials." More than 150 events of the business program will be dedicated to the global agenda’s topics, such a competition and WTO, implementation of new technologies, localization of production, industrial logistics, technology parks, energy efficiency, international cooperation, and other. Moreover INNOPROM will be the main platform for the discussion of the "Law on industrial Policy in the Russian Federation" project, which is expected to be adopted in 2014.
"It is symbolic that the discussion of these issues has traditionally been held in Yekaterinburg – the established center of Russian industry. Since INNOPROM has become an authoritative platform for meetings and discussions between representatives of the world’s leading industrial companies and investors, reaching the status of the major Russian industrial exhibition," said Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade for the Russian Federation, head of the INNOPROM organizing committee.
"Such platforms as INNOPROM determine the future of industry. Developing dynamically over the last four years, this project has grown steadily into a regional platform. Today it is considered the most representative showcase of industrial technology in our country," said Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, who has traditionally been involved in the INNOPROM business program and conducts forum meetings with the heads of major Russian and international companies.
A key partner of INNOPROM 2014 is The International Federation of Robotics (IFR), which is included in the list of INNOPROM events which it is recommended to visit, and will be presented by an official delegation.
One of the most popular projects at INNOPROM will be the international Global Industrial Design Forum (GID). This will traditionally attract the world’s brightest stars in industrial design, the leading European schools and design centers. The brightest star at the GID this year will be Chris Bangle, who has been the chief designer of the German automaker BMW for 17 years. Chris Bangle will not only speak at the forum, but also will present their latest ideas, prototypes and developments.
"Our main goal is to make an effective event demanded by the business. At the same time, we actively introduce new topics to the program, such as industrial technologies for urban and industrial design. These themes, which we are working to advance, will ultimately be relevant to tomorrow, creating a future agenda," said Maxim Zverkov, president of the Formika group of companies.
