PROFI will run concurrently with INNOPROM, the Main International Industrial Trade Fair in Russia. INNOPROM organizers invite industrial equipment suppliers and buyers from over 100 countries to create a major technology display.
PROFI-2018 theme is Corporate Universities: Production and Administrative Training. Theme selection reflects the needs of enterprises which are interested in technical retooling and personnel training in the context of modern production processes and often have to operate within a limited budget.
"In 2018, PROFI seeks to ensure maximum contacts between equipment suppliers and buyers. In order to meet this objective, we developed the PROFI exhibition and business program, as well as our special PROFI Routes, i.e. daily 40-60 minute tours that allow for INNOPROM visitors to attend all exhibition pavilions," Project Director Tatiana Aprelskaya shared.
PROFI-2017 gathered a professional audience for the first time: over the course of INNOPROM, PROFI Routes covered more than 30 stands located in all pavilions, and 200 professional visitors involved in equipment procurement, i.e. top and on-site managers of production facilities, technical colleges and institutes, and corporate universities, as well as R&D and HR directors, took advantage of the special tours. INNOPROM organizers assemble tour groups and take them on PROFI Routes.
Education solutions suppliers can submit their applications for participation in the PROFI exhibition until the end of December 2017. The operator will ensure that professional buyers are in attendance. INNOPROM exhibitors willing to present their simulators, education technologies, and materials on professional training and development for blue-collar personnel are welcome to apply. "We will still organize education routes for high school (14+) and college students, but their share will decrease while the number of PROFI tours for adults will grow," Aprelskaya emphasized.
PROFI-2018 business program will maintain maximum coverage of education solutions and related aspects. The program will span over July 11-12 and open with the Conference of the Presidential National Council for Professional Qualifications. The Big Conference of HR Directors of Russian Production Enterprises and Holdings will run as a separate event. Its participants will share their experiences in the application of training equipment and discuss staffing issues.
In 2017, three federal ministries were among PROFI participants: the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, and Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation.
Key 2017 participants included Cisco, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Laser Center, Eisencraft, HeadHunter, National Agency of Qualifications Development, and Siberian Federal University.
Ninth International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM-2018 will be held on July 9-12, 2018.
