The Republic of Korea, one of Asian-Pacific countries-leaders in regard of economic development and the volume of trade turnover with Russia, has been granted the status of Partner Country of INNOPROM-2018. Within last decades, Korean industry achieved key positions in such fields as automobile industry, shipbuilding, electrical appliances production and telecommunication equipment.
Partner Country represented achievements of the leading sectors of Korean industry, innovative inventions, investment opportunities and outlook of technological cooperation at INNOPROM-2018.
Kim Dong Yeon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea, and Lee Inho, First Vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, have become guests of honor at INNOPROM 2018
The Korean delegation included approximately 400 corporate representatives and officials who engaged in more than 670 negotiations at the exhibition. INNOPROM featured the signing of 5 bilateral memoranda between Drone and Copter Express, IREA Chemicals and OZ Group, U-Jin Tech SD Group, Jin Sung Ent and Siberian Technology Company, Hwaseung Exwill and Leotec Group; the memorandum between Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Middle Ural Development Corporation (MUDC) was signed as part of the Business Program.
The Korean exhibit was located in Pavilion 1 and at more than 3000 sq.m. was the largest exposition at INNOPROM. The Partner Country exhibit showcased 105 top Korean enterprises, including leaders in such industries as mechanical engineering, robotics, auto industry, power industry, industrial equipment, metalworking, and consumer goods. The most extensive stands showcased products manufactured by such industrial giants as Doosan Infracore, PT Coupling, Hyundai Motors (which presented its first hybrid e-car Ioniq electric), IRROBOT, TagTec, Jungwoo Motor, and Yongsung Electriс.
