The Italian Republic, a country with one of the most developed economies in Europe and the world and one of the most important foreign trade partners of Russia, has been granted the status of Partner Country of INNOPROM-2020.
In recent years the country's industry has reached new heights in such fields as automobile industry, metalworking, chemical as well as in light and food industries.
Partner Country will present its achievements in the leading sectors of its industry, innovative inventions, investment opportunities and the outlook on the further expanding cooperation between the two countries.
Italy will become the Partner Country in the 11th International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM in 2020. The trade fair will be held in Ekaterinburg on July 7-10, 2020. And the main theme will be ‘Flexible Manufacturing’.
At his Rome work meeting with the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov, Prime Minister of Italy Giuseppe Conte confirmed that the Italian Republic will become the Partner Country of the Eleventh International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM in 2020. “I believe that our combined efforts will bring cooperation between Russia and Italy to a qualitatively new level which will incorporate the interests of both countries and conform to modern trends in global economic relations,” head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia stated.
Approximately 500 companies with Italian participation are currently working in Russia. Italy sees Russia as a long-time and reliable partner and is interested in further development of trade, economic, and industrial relations.
“In our opinion, this attests to the strength of our relationship,” Giuseppe Conte said at the opening of the Forum of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses of Russia and Italy.
By now more than 100 companies have shown their interest in the exhibition. According to preliminary data, the Partner Country’s exhibit will occupy around 3000 sq.m, and the stands will be provided by the leading Italian companies in the spheres of automobile, machinery, metallurgy etc.
