Event is held with the support of the Committee on Regional Policy and Problems of North and Far East of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Environmental reforms, including the cleanup of accumulated environmental damage, cannot rely exclusively on federal funding. They need private capital, which is why instruments for attracting private investment should be transparent for businesses, as well as for government agencies and the public.

By joining their efforts, the state, public organizations, experts, and the business community will develop a viable and inclusive approach to the implementation of projects on the cleanup of accumulated environmental damage and introduce requisite legal and economic instruments into current legislation.

The event will feature the conferral of the Big Ural National Technological Award for the development of efficient solutions and implementation of innovative technologies in waste management.
