February 15-16, 2011 in Bazel (Switzerland) hosts the first meeting of industrialists of Russia and Switzerland. The event was organized by the Russian Trade Representation in Switzerland, the Union of Russian Engineering, Business Council for Cooperation with Switzerland in the Russian Chamber of Commerce, the Swiss Union of Mechanical Engineering SVISSMEM, the government of the canton of Basel-City, with support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Economic Development and the Russian Embassy in Switzerland . The event will be attended by over 150 people.
On the agenda are submitted the prospects of Russian-Swiss cooperation in the field of engineering, technology, innovation in areas such as energy efficiency, new materials, medical equipment, etc. This event will provide an opportunity to demonstrate the investment and export perspectives.
The delegation of the Sverdlovsk region headed by Governor Alexander Misharin will actively participate in the meeting. Thus, in the business program of the delegation included a presentation of priority investment projects of the Sverdlovsk region, negotiations with prospective Swiss investors about the possibility of creating joint enterprises in the Sverdlovsk Region, meetings with the heads of government of the Canton of Basel and Neuchâtel on the development of joint cooperation.
