June 09, 2018. Moscow. Registration for participation in INNOPROM-2018 International Industrial Trade Fair is still open.
The Grand Opening Ceremony will be held in the evening of July 8 at the Cosmos Concert Hall. This year, organizers have promised to wow the audience with a vivid multimedia show. The details are kept secret until the Ceremony, but it has been reported that a famous modern composer and founder of Roomtone recording label Misha Mishenko wrote music for the show. Exclusively for INNOPROM, he blended the sound of classical instruments and industrial motives into a dramatic track in the modern classic style.
The main purpose of the show is to explore INNOPROM-2018 theme of Digital Manufacturing.
Natalia Kolesnikova, Creative Director of the Russian show part of INNOPROM-2018 Opening Ceremony, shared, "Production is shifting to a new digital stage. We emphasize the allusion between production and an orchestra performance wherein a conductor blends the sounds of various instruments together in order to create something integral, impressive, and effective. Similarly, digital manufacturing incorporates the sounds of various industrial instruments to engender a novel product and a new kind of factory. Just like electronic music breathes a new life into classical pieces, digital manufacturing revolutionizes production and brings it to a new level in terms of quality, speed, and efficiency."
The Opening Ceremony will also feature a performance organized by the Republic of Korea, INNOPROM-2018 Partner Country. The ingenious Noreum Machi group will present a modern rendition of traditional Korean music. Group members play traditional Korean instruments: janggo (hourglass-shaped double headed drum), buk (double-headed barrel drum), jing (large gong), kkwaenggwari (small gong), taepyongso (conical oboe), piri (small eight holed high-pitched oboe), and bara (brass cymbals).
The exhibition opens its doors on July 9.
On Days 1 and 2 of the exhibition, visitors will have to pay admission. On Days 3 and 4 (July 11 and 12) admission will be free to those who register online on the exhibition website. Detailed information about registration procedures is available here.
