From 17 till 20 October the
exhibition of medical equipment and products took place in Dusseldorf
(Germany). The exhibition has been held for more than 40 years and is the largest one in the branch.
In 17 pavilions with the total area of 120 thousand sq. m. nearly 4,5 thousand of leading manufacturers and developers from 70 countries were gathered. The number of visitors exceeded 137 thousand people from more than 100 countries.
Organizers of “INNOPROM” held some negotiations with international companies in Dusseldorf. Many exponents of “Medica” showed interest in promoting their products at the Russian market and are considering participating in “INNOPROM” as an important part of the promoting.
Russian companies also took part in the “Medica” exhibition. Those who participated in “INNOPROM” shared impressions about the organization of both events. According to the words of exponents, on large-scale exhibitions there often are problems in organization and some inconvenience and difficult moments arise. For example, this year participants and guests of the exhibition had to wait for a taxi for several hours to leave the exhibition and there was no free access to the Internet. On the contrary, at “INNOPROM-2010” there were problems neither with taxi nor with free access to the Internet on the territory of the exhibition.
The Steering Committee of “INNOPROM” is studying the international experience of organizing large-scale events. While planning the operations of “INNOPROM-2011” the foreign exhibition standards and Russian realities will be taken into account and the latest technologies and developments in this field will be implemented.
Organizational activities on “INNOPROM-2011” are continued.
