Alexander Kharlov, the Minister of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region, took part in the fourth meeting of the working group for cooperation in territorial development between Russia and France. The meeting took place at the Russian Ministry for Economic Development in Moscow.
Attracting French companies to Russia’s special economic zones was one of the chief topics at the meeting.
Minister Kharlov talked about the Sverdlovsk region’s cooperation with France during the meeting, pointing out the 5th Republic’s keen interest in the INNOPROM 2011 exhibition and in the Titanovaya Dolina (Titanium Valley) special economic zone. Elisabeth Puissant, Head of the French Embassy’s Trade Mission in Russia, said that UBIFrance, the French Trade Commission’s agency for promoting foreign export, is interested in attending INNOPROM-2011 and getting a detailed look at the peculiarities of the Titanium Valley special economic zone.
