The International Robot Exhibition – iRex – is taking place in Tokyo from 6 to 9 November.
"We could not miss the largest robotics trade fair in the world, because of the 2014 INNOPROM theme, which is “Intelligent industry”, stated Anton Atrashkin, Director of the main Industrial’s trade fair Business Program.
The exhibition is being held in Tokyo for the 20th time. It attracts both global robotics manufacturers, such as Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Kawasaki, Nachi, Yaskawa, and IAI, and dozens of Japanese laboratories and research centers. This year's exhibition is being attended by 340 companies. Despite the busy schedule of the of Japanese companies’ management at the exhibition, INNOPROM representatives held meetings with the top managers of Fanuc Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Nachi-Fujikoshi Corp and Toshiba Machines.
"Fanuc Corporation is one of the sales leaders in Russia. We are particularly widening our presence in the engineering and pharmaceutical industries. We are interested in big exhibitions – universal promotion platforms", disclosed Hiroyuki Harada, Robot Overseas Sales Director, Fanuc.
"The automotive is one of the most important industries for us in Russia. This industry is growing quite fast and all the leading automakers know that Kawasaki’s position is particularly strong in this industry", Shinichi Hata, Head of the Automotive Group, Kawasaki, concluded.
