A meeting was held on March 12 within the Russian-Chinese working group to prepare for participation of China, partner country of the International Industrial Trade Fair INNOPROM 2015.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Georgiy Kalamanov, and the Deputy Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, Zhong Shan. The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of both countries, the customs authorities of Russia and China, the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, Formika Group - the operator of the INNOPROM - and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade - the operator for organising the Chinese exposition.
The key participation formats of China in INNOPROM 2015 were presented by representatives of the partner country. It was announced that the unparalleled scale of national Chinese exposition in Pavilion №1 will be organized. It will take up 7,500 m² - the largest in the history of INNOPROM exposition. Within its framework, China will showcase products of its leading industrial enterprises in such areas as high-speed railway lines, the aerospace industry, shipbuilding, electric power complexes, automobile manufacturing, electronics, mechanical engineering, nuclear energy and satellite navigation systems. In addition, as part of China's national exposition, there will be stands from the seven Chinese provinces of Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shandong, Guadun, Gansu.
Essentially it was arranged about the participation of the expert community of China in key events of the business program. So, on July 8, the Russia-China Business Summit will be held as part of the INNOPROM business program, and on the very same day, after the official opening of the national exposition of China - leaders of the Russian and Chinese delegation will have a view of the INNOPROM exhibition. A reception with colourful performance of the "Red Dress" will be held on the evening of the 8th of July on behalf of the partner country.
There is a high degree of probability that the delegation of the partner country will be headed by the leader of China. At a press conference in Beijing for the Chinese and international mass media, the Director of the Eurasian Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China, Mr. Lin Ji noted that all the possibilities for representation at the highest level were being worked out: "We hope that the special status of China as a partner country of INNOPROM opens up great opportunities for our countries to expand and strengthen cooperation in the production, trade and economic spheres. China will make comprehensive efforts to present their industry at the highest levels. In particular, we expect the Chinese leader's visit to INNOPROM, the process of wide-scale preparations have been already initiated."
