The next meeting of the Global Robot Cluster in 2020 will take place in Ekaterinburg at the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair (Ekaterinburg, July 7-10, 2020) - this was decided at the meeting of the Cluster’s Board of Directors in Daegu, South Korea, on November 6. The proposal of the RAR to hold this event in Russia won over the proposals by Rhône-Alpes cluster COBOTEAM (Lyon, France) and Silicon Valley Robotics (San Francisco, USA).
Including over 1,500 robotics companies from all over the world today, Global Robot Cluster was created in 2018 for promotion of cooperation between clusters and their companies.
“The most recent developments and cutting-edge technologies are traditionally displayed at INNOPROM. Our colleagues from the RAR won - they got the right to gather the Global Robot Cluster directors in Russia for the first time, to discuss the major robotics trends in Russia and in the world with them, to continue the dialogue between market players and government authorities. This event will attract even more international participants to INNOPROM-2020,” says Anastasia Martinen, Director of the INNOPROM International Industrial Trade Fair.
“To host the GRC meeting is a great honor for us, and also an opportunity for promotion of robotics in Russia. We are sure that this event will expand Russian participation in international cooperation, support our participants entering foreign markets, and reveal the opportunities of Russian robotics companies to other countries,” says Alisa Konyukhovskaya, Executive Director of RAR, Vice-president of Global Robot Cluster.
